The Chapel leads directly back to the Preparation Room where remains are taken preliminary to cremation. Receiving vaults are provided here for those who wish to postpone the cremation services until a later date. The room features beautifully carved oak paneled doors, behind which are the cremation retorts. These doors remain closed during the cremation process.
