The site of the Maple Hill Cemetery was initially identified for its beautiful view overlooking the valley. Originally a 15-acre tract of natural forest with giant maples and other varieties of shade trees, Maple Hill has expanded to include nearly 38 acres of land while preserving many of the original trees. Maple trees, dogwoods, magnolias and other flowering and shade trees enhance the cemetery grounds, carefully planned so that every section of the cemetery is easily accessible.
